Tesla Employment – Mobile Tire Technician

Job Description:

Tesla is looking for an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
• Safely operate company vehicle
• Perform apprentice level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
• Help maintain cleanliness of vehicles
• Communicate professionally with customers and other stakeholders
• Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
• Support other Mobile Service technicians and Tesla Service Centers as needed
• Maintain records of time, expenses and materials

Job Requirements:

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment
• Knowledge of methods and techniques in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
• Understanding and training on mounting and balancing tires and tire repairs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions
• Must be willing to become DOT certified
• Experience operating a tow and trailer
• Trade school training/ ASE’s a plus
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public and multiple internal stakeholders
