Our new Redfin Home Services team brings a higher level of convenience and certainty to the home selling and buying process. As a Helper Painter for Redfin Home Services, you’ll help drive our paint services division.

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses back rolling method when Painter I and II are spraying
• Prepares the surrounding area by taping off and masking areas, covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
• Assists in filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler, using caulking gun and putty knife
• Assists in painting various surfaces through several methods of painting (rolling and/or the ability to learn how to -brush)
• Ability to utilize and learn new technologies. Must have smartphone skills and Microsoft office skills
• Removes any old paint, sanding, scraping and power washing surfaces to prepare for paint
• Apprentice Painter position supporting and assisting Journeyman Painter at project sites
• Keeping the jobsite clean and free of debris

Job Requirements:

• Ability to carry work equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
• Excellent time management. Experience in following and setting deadlines, and driving towards completion
• Excellent organization skills and neatness. A character of dependability and accountability with an orientation of service to others.
• Results oriented, common sense and critical thinking skills
• Proactive communication with Lead Painter and Home Services Manager
• At least one year of residential renovation and construction experience, including paint and general handyman skills
• Must have customer service experience
