Job Description: This position is for a Senior IT Network Specialist – responsible for supporting project implementation, operations, and maintenance of PG&E’s enterprise Audio/Visual and Voice infrastructure within the Network Solutions Team. The successful candidate must have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Audio/Visual with a strong troubleshooting background. Candidates must be self-motivated and passionate about making A/V solutions easy-to-use. Job Responsibilities: Providing after-hours support for infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance Evaluates new products and equipment and keeps abreast of new products and/or equipment available in the market. Ensuring compliance with applicable security standards and requirements System monitoring to maintain availability Own A/V projects and execute to completion Conduct trainings on equipment and spaces to users and support personnel Perform testing and evaluations of new technologies in a lab environment Job Requirements: Ability to multitask, learn quickly, self- motivate, and be a team player Audio DSP programming experience (QSC, Biamp) Minimum 5 years of experience supporting A/V Technology Minimum 3 years of A/V system design and builds experience.
