Nutanix Jobs in Oakland – Senior Linux Kernel Engineer

Job Requirements:

• Open-source kernel contributions would be a plus.
• Minimum of a BS in Computer Science (not Computer Engineering), MS preferred.
• Familiarity with Centos/Red Hat distro.
• Good working knowledge of the Linux kernel with 3-5 years of experience in this field
• Solid understanding of the following:
• • Memory allocation, like slab allocator, malloc etc.
  • Scheduling
  • cgroup concepts
  • Kernel debugging
  • Threading
  • Driver integration
  • Familiarity with RPMs and the kernel compile process (Kconfig etc)
