Job Description: Within the Corporate Treasury department of the Capital & Liquidity Management Group, this position will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, analyzing and reporting regulatory capital positions for KeyBank and KeyCorp. Provides instruction, guidance, and deliverables relating to enhancements to the capital management processes, including project work designed to comply with regulatory requirements. Produces consolidated comprehensive assessments of capital for committee review and measures performance levels against prior periods and risk limits. Coordinates and prepares executive level analysis at the request of and for the Corporate Treasurer, senior management, and regulators (OCC and Federal Reserve). Job Responsibilities: Interface and coordinate the activities of various teams from Risk Management, Finance, and Key's Line of Businesses that contribute to the capital management process. Work closely with Key's regulators and internal auditors to provide information that facilitates their oversight of Key's process and capital position. Prepare analyses for management that provide insights on the adequacy of Key's capital position (i.e. peer analysis, capital goals and targets, and capital trends). Support development of balance sheet strategy providing analysis (i.e. Capital attribution, returns on capital, balance sheet analytics, line of business analysis). Develop subject matter expertise on all capital management matters. Analyze and provide capital actions and capital adequacy recommendations to management, including dividends, share repurchases, and capital issuances. Compile and write portions of KeyCorp’s annual Capital Plan submission to the Federal Reserve. Develop and implement process changes that respond to regulatory guidance and directives. Ability to translate between strategic plans and detailed operating plans. Displays initiative and is pro-active in anticipating requests and next steps. Knowledge of banking and financial services industry. Possess exceptional communication and listening skills and the ability to “sell” his/her ideas within the organization.
