Flight Attendant Jobs in JetBlue – Controller System

Job Description:

The System Controller is responsible for the operational integrity of the schedule system wide. The Controller coordinates the resources within the System Operations Center as well as other cross departmental resources to take a proactive approach to managing and developing the operating plans to maintain schedule integrity during system disruptions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal routing of aircraft for operational/performance restrictions
• Anticipate where disruptions may occur and work to reduce or eliminate delays imposed on JetBlue flights
• Proactively plan and execute the daily and future schedule to achieve established performance goals
• Make aircraft swaps for operational integrity and scheduled/planned maintenance purposes as needed
• Monitor Crew Duty/Must Off Time limitations and coordinate with Crew Services
• Build Flight Disruptions and Ad Hoc flights utilizing Sabre Movement Control
• Monitor and communicate Tarmac Delays
• Develop a recovery strategy in collaboration with Airports and the Salt Lake City Support Center as part of an overall tactical system operating plan
• Communicate significant irregularities to company leadership system wide

Job Requirements:

• Currently in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
• Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• Five (5) years of airline experience or military equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and management skills
• Ability tto work flexible work schedule to cover the operation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
• Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
• Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Preferred Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or a related field
