Job Description:
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager – UK, the Health & Safety Analyst is responsible for ensuring day to day administrative support is provided to the team. The Health & Safety Analyst will ensure all relevant data taken from our in-house safety reporting system is continuously analysed to assist the team prioritise workloads across the operational areas. The role will involve investigation of minor incidents within the business and ensuring regulatory compliance is achieved in relation to reportable incidents.
Job Responsibilities:
- This vital position involves supporting the Health & Safety management team by providing effective and timely management information and data reports. You will support with system improvements allowing for continuous development of the Jet2.com Safety Management System (SMS) with the wider goal of making our business as safe as possible for our Colleagues and all-important customers. The Health & Safety Analyst will coordinate monthly safety reports, create briefing packs for safety occurrences and conduct safety database training when required. The role will involve the creation of timetables and schedules of vital health & safety tasks within the department or wider business, whilst also supporting the overseas Health & Safety team with similar tasks.
Job Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have experience in an administration role with experience of data management – experience within a Health and Safety environment would be advantageous. The role would ideally suit someone wanting to develop a career within health & safety. You will have experience of providing analytical support to a team, taking a logical and thorough approach to work. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to present technical data in a clear and informative way, with excellent attention to detail. You will also be familiar working with databases and online IT systems (any experience using Tableau would be highly desirable). Above all you will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
