Job Description: The ideal candidate has developed policy and guidance for personal property programs, experience with the oversight and operation of the personal property life cycle and has used inventory tracking systems, preferably Sunflower Asset Management System. Job Responsibilities: Reviewing, updating, and creating policies, guidance, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for an Agency property management program. Developing and updating policies and procedures necessary to ensure Agency Personal Property records are accurately updated and properly maintained within an automated system, such as Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS); Planning, developing, and preparing requirements, functional specifications, management procedures, guidance, and standards of adequacy for the effective delivery and execution of assigned programs; Providing guidance, assistance, and training to agency personal property stakeholders; Maintaining required property accounts and related records and controls for all personal property owned/leased by the agency or loaned to other offices, Federal or State agencies; Analyzing, interpreting, updating and developing agency-wide policies and procedures necessary to ensure accurate accountability of personal property assets within an automated system of record, such as Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS); Ensuring the effective operation, administration, and maintenance of a personal property control and accountability system of record; Conducting analysis, recommendations, and reporting through data and information collection techniques.
