Job Description:
ExxonMobil located in Spring, Texas, is seeking motivated, qualified and experienced individuals for physical natural gas marketing / gas sales and trading roles within the dynamic U.S. natural gas market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, market participants and business partners
- Ensure alignment and compliance with all relevant management systems and guidelines
- Strong team skills ability to work across trade floor and across functional teams
- Manage and document transactions and contracts, as needed, through entire sales / supply cycle
- Create and capture value across the natural gas value chain value through commercial actions including sales, purchases and transport of natural gas
- Support development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans support regional asset teams with investment and optimization decisions
- Negotiate and execute related sales, purchase, transportation and service agreements consistent with commercial strategies
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of market fundamentals, buying/selling positions, infrastructure, market participants, associated relevant regulations, and standard industry contracting practices
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Strong value creation orientation and optimization skills
- A minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience required
- Current experience and deep knowledge of regional North American gas markets and associated gas infrastructure.
- Experience in negotiation, contract development, relationship management and risk management
- Previous experience in gas physical sales and trading required prior experience in financial trading preferred
- Current origination experience in Texas, Gulf Coast and South East U.S. Markets preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
