Job Description:

We are currently looking for an Analyst Volumetric Accounting. At this junior level position you will be responsible for providing a range of basic oil accounting services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Aligning with established oil accounting processes/procedures, e.g. industry equalization, accounts receivable cash applications and routine analytical reports
• Provides support by coordinating the flow of information to partners internally and externally
• Provide accurate basic oil accounting technical support by administering corporate accounting standards, financial controls and related processes, e.g., assisting with contract invoicing, shipper balance statements, carrier’s inventory management, revaluing oil loss mitigation, analyzing measurement variance for non-complex pipe(s) and applying corrections, processing routine daily and monthly oil balance recovery, name changes, amalgamations, asset sales, operator changes, providing reports to appropriate authorities, etc.
• Coordinating frontline support for basic customer queries, e.g., shipper balance discrepancies, prepayment requests, invoicing variances, new services, etc.
• Providing input regarding improvement of processes and customer account management

Job Requirements:

• Strong initiative combined with keen attention to detail, excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Familiarity with personal computer productivity tools and standard business software
• A Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or an equivalent combination of accounting or industry related education
