Cigna Careers – Sr Cloud Architect Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Migrating On-prem solution to cloud including Teradata DB
• Develop technical architecture to achieve more modular, cloud centric, API and streaming driven architecture for agile delivery.
• Develop data pipelines to integrate with enterprise data steams – Cloud and on-perm
• Partners with other Engineers within the Team to collaborate on architecture decisions and develop solutions in AWS – Including Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, elastic search,
• DynamoDB, Lambda AI/ML tools.
• Hands-on technologist in cloud journey

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience working with SQL Server.
• Experience with Security Concepts (e.g. Encryption, Identity, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Data Integration (e.g. Streaming, Batch, Error and Replay) and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with API and Streaming technologies.
• Software development experience with Python and NodeJS.
• Experience with OpenShift.
• 7+ years experience with hands-on Software Engineering and Architecture
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Experience writing and maintaining SQL.
• 2+ years experience with AWS capabilities – Databricks, redshift, dynamoDB, Lambda, Redshift, elastic search
• Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka.
