Job Description:
You’ll support the planning, management and control of marketing plans and activity, across digital and traditional channels. You’ll support the development of the ongoing marketing journey for our customers.
You’ll also support key campaigns throughout the year, will be a key part of a small marketing team & work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, deploying broader marketing activity to achieve great outcomes for our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Undertaking periodic process reviews, ensuring that we maximise efficiencies
- Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
- Monitoring our direct competitors, highlighting key market trends & patterns
- Considering how marketing technology can enable us to deliver more efficient and effective campaigns
- Coordinating relevant governance to ensure the appropriate risk appetite is considered for campaign or project requirements by managing audit trails, sign-offs and approvals
- Managing budgets and project plans
- Evaluating marketing campaigns, acting on data-led insights
- Building effective working relationships to understand the AFS product portfolio, key benefit features, core products and customer strategies
- Considering how to change customer behaviours, evaluating how this impacts customer needs and subsequent journeys.
- Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
Job Requirements:
- Relevant marketing experience
- Experienced in agency management
- Strong influencing and networking skills
- Positive can-do attitude with a commercial focus
- Proven expertise developing customer-focused communications and propositions
- Proven campaign management skills for tactical marketing activity, specifically through instore, direct and online marketing
- Analytical ability to understand customer targets and channel choice, evaluating all options to pursue the most cost‐effective and profitable return on investment, plus a thorough understanding of post‐review learning
