Job Description: The role will support the Finance and Accounting Advantage Day 2 Transition team. The position will be primarily responsible for post deployment support, testing of future Alfa releases, deferred items, and future projects. Job Responsibilities: Support and assist the Advantage Finance & Accounting team on various projects as needed Perform analyses using Excel and COGNOS Research general ledger transactions in various subsystems including SAP, Alfa, and ABS. Partner with Business Unit personnel to understand various auto finance transactions Document processes and findings Collaborate as part of a team to resolve and troubleshoot issues Validation of accounting for defects, workarounds, and new requirements (reviewing test results to ensure system is behaving as expected) Gather accounting requirements and write accounting test cases Partner with test execution team to automate regression testing Job Requirements: Auto Finance industry experience a plus Ability to clearly communicate effectively, both written and verbal 3-5 years of experience BS/BBA degree in Accounting/Finance required Ability to organize data, perform independent analysis, provide and articulate explanations to management Energetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiative, team player and able to multi task Proficient MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) Strong attention to detail balanced with knowing the right level necessary to deliver on requirements Access and SQL experience a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills CPA preferred Job Details: Company: Ally Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Charlotte, NC, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.net
