Job Description: As an AECOM designer, your role will be to leverage creativity and technical expertise to design innovative, functional, and human-centered spaces for local, national, and international clients. Job Responsibilities: Assist with maintaining resource library content Interior architectural design and space planning Basic understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents. Planning, selection, specification and documentation of furniture, furnishings, and lighting Preparation of plans, elevations, and design presentation documentation Collaborate with other disciplines and external consultants and vendors Introduced to the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures. Interior finish concepts, selections, specifications, and plans Limited familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline. Interior design assignments related to conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration Responsible for initiating and developing design and construction document drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project’s discipline leaders. Under direct supervision, may complete design assignments of limited complexity. Review contractor-submitted drawings and finish samples Job Requirements: Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas Proficient in Revit, SketchUp and other modeling software programs Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Interest in designing workplace and healthcare spaces Innovative design talent with work samples or portfolio to illustrate abilities and approach Knowledge of finishes, furniture, materials, color selections, and specifications for non-residential environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field plus four (4) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Job Details: Company: AECOM Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Athens, GA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.net
