Job Description: Key Accounts Executives are in-field positions focused on our top customers including National Optometric corporations, division within national retailers, private-equity backed groups and large multi-specialty practices. The Key Accounts Executive is responsible for developing relationships with C-Suite and functional leaders within our top account and collaborating with the accounts to develop customized business plans and strategies to promote Allergan Eye Care products. Job Responsibilities: Actively participates in leadership team meetings when appropriate Develop relationships at C-Suite as well and key functional leaders for Key Accounts Identify areas of opportunity within accounts to train and educate doctors, staff and key leaders on Allergan’s products and disease states Find efficient ways to communicate to the vast groups of non-called-on doctors within the top accounts. Collaborate with Key Accounts, OTC Executives and the Associate Director, Strategic Accounts to develop tools and materials for best-in-class program execution Work with Key Accounts, OTC Pharmacy Executives and Allergan Eye Care brand teams to develop customized business plans and strategies to promote Allergan Eye Care products Provides subject matter expertise to field sales organization Act as thought leaders for Key Accounts, and as the “voice of the customer” back to the various Allergan sales and marketing teams Attends major industry/customer conferences, and other applicable meetings. Job Requirements: Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and presentation skills are needed to effectively work with diverse customers and employees across a variety of organizational levels and disciplines, including senior executives, therapeutic decision makers, and other influencers Strong analytical and financial/budgetary experience and the ability to execute key strategies Track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets and working effectively in complex environments Ability to travel as needed for work requirements - travel is expected to be 50% Proven leadership ability and ability to influence through others Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including clear presentation of technical and analytical information to various management levels and external parties.
