Job Description: The Europe Consumer Finance (LFO) team works provides a broad spectrum of financial and portfolio analysis to support product and investment decisions. The level of exposure and insights to business challenges and opportunities is high and often demanding; requiring someone who strives to collaborate, challenge and influence business partners and provide analytical and value-add recommendations that have a real impact on business decisions, long-range strategy and overall company performance. Job Responsibilities: Build cost benefit/NPV analyses on key initiatives, new distribution deals, and co-brand re/negotiations Manage and support key financial performance processes such as month-end results analysis, risks and opportunity forecasting, yearly and mid-range planning Track and monitor investment performance, influencing trade-offs and providing recommendations on the optimal allocation of investment funding Continue to transform financial processes through report automation, creating new and utilizing existing dashboards to understand trends and deliver insights Work closely with Acquisition, Marketing, Controllership, Risk, Utilities, and other central Finance teams, providing them with market specific financial and commercial insights Adopt an Enterprise mindset and bring visibility to the Blue Box P&L across the EMEA proprietary markets Become a valued finance business partner providing high quality and value-added data analytics to influence strategic business decisions in the consumer business within Europe Job Requirements: Excellent relationship building capability, able to influence others without having direct authority, combined with strong communication and presentation skills Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to develop business cases, financial models, and senior leader level presentations Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills; knowledge of data science tools such as SQL, python, SAS, Cornerstone, and Tableau preferred Able to work with ambiguity, solve and explain complex problems and financial results efficiently to finance and non-finance audiences at different seniority levels Self-motivated, intellectually curious, open-minded in taking on new challenges Ability to work independently under pressure, to meet deadlines, deliver results and manage multiple tasks without compromising quality Good understanding of payments industry and card economics; interest and experience with ROI and NPV modelling an advantage Strong commercial acumen, sense of personal excellence and accountability Job Details: Company: American Express Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: London, England, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.net
