Job Description: We have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join the Night shift Team based within the Hornsey Station. Job Responsibilities: Ensure the effective performance of the shift in line with depot targets Carry out any other relevant duties as requested by the Line Manager to ensure the effective performance of the Depot Operation. Ensure that goods on hand levels are kept to a minimum and all consignments are dealt with within 24-hours Produce relevant reports as required by the depot Ensure that high levels of internal and external customer care are maintained by the shift Effectively communicate to all team members, e.g. shift briefings Partake in any developmental training as required in compliance with the Company’s commitment to the Investor in People Standard Develop staff for succession through coaching, delegation and feedback Manage, train and develop in line with the Investor in People Standard thereby ensuring all employees within the team are trained and developed in accordance with their job role and business requirement Ensure that all HASAWA Legislation/Security Procedures are adhered to and that good housekeeping is maintained Responsible for promoting a professional image of the Company and for complying with the Company’s Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policies at all times, including work related events which take place outside normal working hours Job Requirements: Ability to work as part of a team Ability to prioritise a busy workload Excellent customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to use own initiative Flexible approach to work Good numeracy and literacy skills Excellent organisational skills Excellent telephone skills Ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent people management skills PC literate Qualification & Experience: Ability to give attention to detail Results and target orientated Self motivated Ability to work in a busy environment Job Details: Company: FedEx Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Huntingdon, England, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.net
