Job Description: We are looking for a team member with excellent communication skills, with a background in technology, business intelligence, and strong logic and problem solving. This team member will support growing Analytics capabilities and emerging technologies for the Operations Loss Control team. Job Responsibilities: Advanced working knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python, R, and Databases with the ability to write complex SQL statements to build data tables and produce reports Possess advanced data analysis skills to extract and analyze data fields from new data sources to propose strong business use case for consumption Retrieve data from multiple data sources and build data sets for end user business consumption using using SQL, SAS or Python (Prefer Python) Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key data/analytics innovation platforms Understand data governance concepts and work closely with engineering teams and governance teams to act as a data steward on data owned by busines line Partner with the business to provide data consultancy and solutions that meets their demands Support core State audits and Exams by providing high quality data extracts and support on data definitions if required. Possess working knowledge of big data concepts and cloud data warehouse (Hadoop/ Snowflake) Develop self-service analytical tools in open-source tech for business analysts to perform next gen analytics and able to perform their functions easily Initiate, develop and execute small to medium scale projects Job Requirements: Technologies / Coding Languages: RDBMS: Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, SQL server, etc. Scripting/Query Languages: (Required Advance) - Python, SQL,SAS Strong platform & tool skills Strong background building and maintaining data infrastructure Strong technical knowledge and/or skills for area of expertise AND/OR management knowledge of Data Analytics reporting and management Data platforms: Hadoop, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle Complex Problem solving skills General understanding of the requirements of the entire function Reporting - Power BI ( Preferred ) 5+ years of experience Bachelor’s degree preferred, Masters is a plus Job Details: Company: Ally Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Lewisville, TX, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.net
