Job Description: The Statutory Reporting Specialist is a member of the Finance Statutory Reporting & Tax team. The department is responsible for performing all financial reporting tasks applicable to legal entities part of Foot Locker Group in Europe and Asia, under the leadership of the European Retail Controller. Job Responsibilities: Support and respond to different business requests. Complete year-end closing procedures and coordinate work performed by external bookkeeping firms. Execute tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, also as required for SOX compliance. Prepare journal entries, reconciliations (intercompany and inventory), investigate and adjust differences between US GAAP and Local GAAP items. Liaise with auditors and external accountants for both interim and year end audits, prepare reports and supporting documentation. Advise management on process improvements and support process set-up for new requirements. Track and ensure timely completion of local statutory reporting requirements. Job Requirements: Graduate degree or equivalent in Accounting Finance or Economics, minimum 5+ years’ hands-on experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detailed understanding of local tax regulations will be highly considered Willingness to travel (pending travel restrictions) Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel Hands-on experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft or Oracle preferred) Strong attention to details and excellent problem-solving skills Knowledge of accounting closing processes and controls Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, etc) Knowledge of Asian GAAP’s and US GAAP differences A team player with a service-oriented attitude and proactive thinking Job Details: Company: Foot Locker Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Tamworth, AU Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.net
